• The talented Gael Towey recently started a short film series called Portraits in Creativity in which she documents artists and their inspirations, revealing the courage and curiosity that propel the creative act.
• I love these nature inspired tattoos.
• I've always been intrigued by the lengths people will go to in the name of fashion and creative self-expression: Fatal Victorian Fashion and the Allure of the Poison Garment.
• I'm in love with these stunning Art Deco Merci Beaucoup note cards I just snagged from Line 117 Stationery.
• This flat file storage IKEA hack is clever and much more cost-effective than typical flat files.
• I absolutely love Olivia Knapp's illustrations featuring unexpected arrangements of anatomical parts, flora, and commonplace objects. Her drawings are influenced by European line engravings of decorative relief and scientific specimens from the 16th and 17th centuries. Talk about inspiring! (I noticed she also uses my favorite pens!)

I couldn't be more thrilled that one of my favorite local shops, ATAMA, will be hosting my first ever solo show Night Flora.

About the show:

Inspired by the natural and physiological world around her, Jody Pham's fascination with the intricacies of seemingly everyday things began at a very young age. Her distinctively monochromatic illustrations are filled with contradicting clean lines, tangled flora, and inky disarray that invite the viewer to take a closer look. She finds the transformative, resilient disposition of nature beautiful and endlessly inspiring. Jody's compositions often reflect her bicultural identity, and the experience of navigating dual worlds.

Bad Diary Days at ATAMA.

Last month I had the pleasure of being part of ATAMA's first ever group show! I was in great company with original works by Hatziel Flores, Loretta Gonzalez, Brent Ozaeta, Jeremy Biggers, Jason Chalker, Samanta Lattice Lowery, Nick Quintero, Ricardo Oviedo, Vanessa Velasquez, Emily DonJuan, Matt Brinker, Leisa Bailey, and several other local artists.

ATAMA is a fun shop in Mockingbird Station here in Dallas. They specialize in limited edition designer toys, fine art, prints, books and more. They are hosting my very first solo show later this month (more details TBA very soon!), and I couldn't be more thrilled to collaborate with Atama.

• This zen rock garden is edible.
• This gold & black t-rex tote by Jurassic Panda is kind of amazing. (It instantly reminded me of my brain twin!)
• Rose-Lynn Fisher's 'Topography of Tears' turns tears into emotional landscapes that help us define the human experience.
• Fungi is more beautiful and diverse than you think.
• I love this City of Tomorrow candle from School of Life's clever Utopia Series.
• Artist Camila Carlow created a beautiful series of human organs made from flowers and plants.
• Photojojo now offers Human Sized Prints made on industrial printers typically used for architectural and engineering work for only $25.
• These engraved rolling pins by Poland based Valek are incredibly neat. I especially love the geometric chevron one.
• David Luciano's gourmet mouse trap photo series is both fun and brilliant!

Cykochik + Jody Pham Lung Tee Collaboration.

I've collaborated with Cykochik once again! The design I created for Cykochik's Artist Series 3 Handbag Collection has only been available as a laptop sleeve up until now. My lung design is now exclusively available as the first release in Cykochik's Tee Series!
